A volunteer board of directors oversees the operation of Kahala at Poipu Kai. 

The board is made up of dedicated owners, some of whom are full time residents. We meet regularly and communicate often about issues that affect the property.

Meet the board

 

Gordon LaBedz lives at Kahala full time. He serves as board president.
Dick Fogel is a retired Assistant Comptroller General with the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. He serves as Kahala’s treasurer.
John Hagen is a retired engineer from Pacific Gas & Electric.

 

Shawn Cohen is a retired Los Angeles Sheriffs Deputy. In his spare time he likes to hike on the Pacific Crest Trail.
Tom Fuller handles internet and communications for the board. He serves as Communications Manager for the Oregon Department of Transportation.
